Overview

Emecalm DSR addresses key gaps in current approaches to GERD and dyspepsia with a motility component. By combining delayed-release enteric-coated pantoprazole with sustained-release domperidone in one once-daily DSR capsule, Emecalm DSR delivers dual-mechanism symptom control that addresses both the acid-secretion and gastric-motility components together, with domperidone's peripherally-selective action limiting central nervous system side effects and the single-capsule format supporting better patient adherence.

Indications

Symptomatic relief of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) where acid reflux is accompanied by delayed gastric emptying, bloating, early satiety, or nausea.
Short-term symptomatic management of dyspepsia with a motility component, as an adjunct to standard acid-suppression therapy.
The domperidone component is intended for short-term use only, per approved label duration limits, with continuation of pantoprazole alone if longer-term acid suppression is needed.
